Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Strata Impact Conference, you accept the Strata Impact Conference Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended and you will be deemed to have accepted all amendments if you use the website after the date the amendments were posted.

Registrations

Registration fees are payable upon registration. Strata Knowledge Pty Ltd (Strata Impact Conference organiser) does not guarantee registration until full payment has been received.

Registrations must be in the name of the attendee only. Delegates cannot share a registration.

By submitting an order via the website, you agree that you are authorised and able to make payment via the method you have chosen.

You will be forwarded a confirmation email when you register. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact Strata Knowledge to ensure your registration has been received.

Early bird Registration

Where an Early bird discounted registration fee is advertised, registrations must be completed and paid for by 5pm on the advertised Early bird closing time and date. If payment is not received before the closing time and date, the standard rate will be charged. Once the allocated Early bird registrations are sold out, registrations will revert to standard pricing regardless of the date.

Registration Transfers and Cancellations

A delegate can request transfer of their registration to a new delegate by request in writing before the conference commencement date. Please notify all cancellations and transfers by email to hello@strataknowledge.com.

Subject to this clause, if a delegate does not attend the event for whatever reason, no refund will be provided.

The following terms will apply to requests from delegates to cancel their registration for the conference.

  • Where a request for cancellation is received at least 30 days before the day the conference is due to commence, a refund of the registration fee will be provided less a cancellation fee of 30%.
  • Where a request for cancellation is received less than 30 days before the day the conference is due to commence, no refund will be offered.

Strata Knowledge intends to run the conference as advertised but reserves the right to change the program without notice and to cancel/postpone if required. If cancelled or postponed, a transfer or full refund/credit will be offered.

You agree to act in a professional and appropriate manner at all times including but not limited to:

  • Treating all conference attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff, and volunteers with courtesy and respect.
  • Engaging in open and constructive dialogue, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Abstaining from disruptive behaviour including loud or offensive language, heckling or any actions that disturb the conference proceedings.
  • Maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.

  • Reporting any observed violations of these terms to conference organizers or security personnel promptly.

Suitcasing

Only registered sponsors are permitted to promote their products or services within the designated conference spaces.

Companies or individuals engaging in suitcasing will be asked to cease such activities immediately or register as an official exhibitor.

Suitcasing refers to the practice of companies or individuals who attend a conference but do not exhibit or sponsor the event and, instead, solicit business in the aisles, common areas, or other public spaces. This unethical practice is contrary to the principles of the conference and creates an unfair advantage for those who have not invested in official participation.

Sexual harassment

The Strata Impact Conference is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. Sexual harassment is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Risk management

Strata Knowledge conducts appropriate risk assessment and mitigation and holds appropriate insurance for all of its events. Delegates are responsible for their own wellbeing and for the wellbeing of others.

It is the Delegate’s responsibility to inform Strata Knowledge of any special dietary or other requirements they may have, sufficiently in advance to enable Strata Knowledge to attempt to accommodate these requirements (or where this is not possible, inform them of such).

Delegate’s use of the Venue and all associated facilities are at their own risk. Strata Knowledge accepts no liability for any injury or loss of or damage to any equipment, materials or other belongings brought to the Venue, whether by fire, theft, accident or otherwise.
